Blue Glacier

The eye moves across the marbled surface without stopping, scanning it. The crystalline structure, characteristic of our inspiration of the month, is not the only reason why it is a pure gem of nature: glacier ice. Every hairline fracture, every air bubble and every type of weather has left its mark on the otherwise smooth surface of the pack ice, creating a dynamic look. A magical interaction between deep blue tones and subtle glacial green. These colours are generated by light being either absorbed or reflected by the ice. The blue you can see is no ordinary blue; it echoes long-gone centuries. A sophisticated patina, an artwork crafted by time.
